Measurement tools

Scale tool

The Scale tool is used to adjust the scale of your scene to match your floor plan.

Start by selecting the Ruler icon in the top-left corner of the screen.

Tap “Scale” to activate the Scale tool

Tap on any wall in your scene, and you’ll see a measurement appear above it. Tap on the measurement to activate the Scale popup.

There are two options in the Scale popup for measurements: Feet, and Meters. The feet option is selected by default.

Type the new measurement for the wall, and tap “Update scale”.

Measurements throughout your scene will automatically be updated according to the new measurement you typed.

To check the accuracy of your new measurements, you can place an object into your scene and make sure it looks right. We recommend a bed, since most of us are pretty familiar with how big our beds are. This will help you eyeball the scale of your scene.

Once you’re done adjusting the scale, tap on the Ruler icon again and deselect “Scale”.

Wall height tool

The Wall height tool is used to adjust the height of individual walls in your scene.

Start by selecting the Ruler icon in the top-left corner of the screen.

Tap “Wall height” to activate the Wall height tool.

Tap on any wall in your scene, and you’ll see an arrow sticking out from the top of the wall. Tap and drag the arrow to adjust the height of the selected wall.

The measurement (in Feet) appears above the wall to tell you the new height.

Once you’re done adjusting your wall heights, tap on the Ruler icon again and deselect “Wall height”.

Distance tool

The Distance tool tells you the distance between walls and objects within your scene.

Start by selecting the Ruler icon in the top-left corner of the screen.

Tap “Distance” to activate the Distance tool.

Tap on any wall or object in your scene, and you’ll see lines and measurements appear between the wall/object and the objects around it.

These measurements update in real-time, so if you move a wall or object, you’ll see the numbers change along with it.

Once you’re done viewing the distance, tap on the Ruler icon again and deselect “Distance”.
